Very different to yesterday – I think this is a great arrangement – and some really lovely horn playing on it as well. (actually it is a great CD as a whole)
I have shared a few of the songs from West Side Story over the months – here is another one. Despite the picture on the cover this track (as you will quickly realise when listening) is not the usual quintet line-up for The Canadian Brass. David Ohanian on horn is backed by additional low brass and a rhythm section (as well as the arranger (Chris Dedrick) on vocals.
