There are many examples of “new versions” of music – some simply change the instrumentation; or take a vocal piece and make it instrumental; or change the style; and many other types of change. My next few videos can perhaps be best summed up as “not the original”.
We start with a fun one – this turns out to be quite unlike the original. I really like the arrangements that “The Piano Guys” do (although there are no pianos in this one). One of the first rules if you are going to “mess about” with music is that you need to be extremely proficient, otherwise it usually just turns out to be a mess.
The next rule is that you really do need to throw your whole self into it – anything half hearted is not going to come across well. I think this one ticks all the boxes – hope you like it as well.
