Denmark, Sweden and Norway

Nine years ago Boscombe Band of the Salvation Army had just completed a tour of Scandinavia visiting Denmark, Sweden and Norway.

This was part of our 125th Anniversary celebrations and the music was recorded live on the occasion of our reunion weekend – apologies for any slight quality and balance problems with the sound 😃. “To The Chief Musician” was used as one of the opening pieces of music during the tour and at the commencement of the Sunday Evening of our reunion weekend which had the theme “A Hymn to Christ” and which concluded with Robert Redhead’s “Christ Hymn” which I posted on May 2nd.

The pictures are just a small selection of the many that you can find on our website from the tour – I’ve tried to include all the places we visited, but, of course, that does mean that it is a bit of a whistle stop tour. There is a page for each of the venues on the website with information about the town, pictures of our visit and not forgetting Kevin’s blog entries.

So wish I could have gone on tour. So nice seeing mum and dad at the beginning of the video
