Like last Sunday, my link is to an a capella song – but the music is very different from last week’s offering.
In many parts of the world (but not the UK) today is mother’s day which makes this arrangement particularly appropriate as Bobby McFerrin dedicated this version of the 23rd Psalm to his mother.
I love the way that he makes full use of the rests as well as the notes – quite different from the way that we sometimes rush our quiet times. I think this is a really beautiful setting of the psalm.
