Last Friday it was a setting of O Magnum Mysterium written around 450 years ago – today, one that is around 25 yrs old.
This setting became very popular a few years ago – possibly in part due to the “Classic FM effect” as they were playing it very regularly. It has since become less frequently heard – but there are many performances to choose from on YouTube – this one is a clear favourite with me!
