As usual – something gentle for Friday.
Again, this is something that I ‘stumbled over’. Having started watching some of the “late” shows from American TV I have learned that whilst they are all quite different in character, they all pretty much share a similar format – a “funny” front man, satire on the current news, interviews with guests and a “house band”.
Stephen Colbert (A Late Show) has Jon Batiste as his resident musician and I was impressed by what I heard – this is a nice performance for my Friday choice.
