I’m moving from yesterday’s jazz Bach to today’s rock Copland! A ‘treat’ for 70’s rock fans 😃
Whilst some (remember Waldo de los Rios?) “popularised” classical tunes by adding a drum machine beat ELP here go way beyond that. I’ve said before that ‘pop’ music didn’t play much of a role in my listening but there were exceptions and ELP were a few rungs up the ladder.
There has been much debate about the actual level of ‘skill’ that some pop musicians actually possess but I don’t doubt just how good these three were.
