My Brass Banding

It was inevitable that somewhere in the list of “types of musical group I have participated in” I would eventually get to Brass Bands as that has been where the majority of my music making has been done.

Last Sunday the music that I shared included me on French Horn – today I have moved to the section where I have spent most time over the last 25 years or so – percussion.

In the week leading up to Easter there was a series of very good videos using some of the recordings from our Band’s last CD “An Easter Tale”. One of the tracks that was not used (but which is available on the Band website) is the final one – Robert Redhead’s “Christ-Hymn” and it is that I am sharing tonight – together with a much less well produced video highlighting my brass banding over the (many) years.

I’m sure you will enjoy the music – and I guess quite a few of you may spot yourselves in the pictures that are included to accompany it😉
