Doing these daily posts has reminded me of just how many of my memories have got a musical accompaniment ๐Ÿ˜€ and today is no exception. The links I am providing give plenty clues as to my musical tastes and for me “going to a concert” when I was younger meant the Scottish National Orchestra (in the days before it became Royal!) proms, or the Edinburgh Festival, or Scottish Opera – you get the idea – that was when I wasn’t playing in concerts myself.
