Continuing with obscure TV themes from the distant past here is a real “blast from the past” (this is much more difficult to identify than yesterday’s) – Boscombe Band in Sweden in 1990. This has been ‘rescued’ from a VHS tape so the video is a bit patchy in quality – but we do see (much) younger versions of some of the current members of the band and many others that we remember fondly.

Kevin – no – its at Jönköping which we visited on the first Sunday evening of the tour. They had an excellent in-house TV system and recorded the evening – it also went down in band folklore as probably our longest ever evening event

I have an lp recording from 1978 of Solna Brass playing it and it is arranged by Rune Froden. It mentions the TV series as “Monitor”.
