Carry On Regardless

Now I could have used my mammoth Monday selection to share Wagner’s Ring cycle, but I have decided to have an excerpt instead. There is a lot of “funeral music” around but this may well be the most “glorious”.

Tennstedt does a marvellous job of controlling what is a very slow tempo (even after the “equipment failure” half way through – they all do a brilliant job of just carrying on regardless😃 – that sort of thing has happened more than once to me as well)
