Tonight’s big work is Elgar’s 1st Symphony.

Some Traditional Chinese Music
During the time that I lived in Wien I think that I attended musical events of various types much more frequently that at any other time in my life. The sheer number of options meant that whilst it was easy to find something that was filled with music that you already know and love it was also possible to try the unfamiliar – and I did so on quite a few occasions.
A Scottish Band

What a Birthday Present

A Prodigious Feat of Memory

Its a long trip trip which was broken in both directions by concerts with the Clevedon Youth Orchestra in which the second half of the concert was a massed performance of Berlioz’s Symphonie Fantastique.
Another Wonderful Choir
A belated Sunday post….
