Dancing Now In Central Europe

Today’s choice is another “fun” piece and another that I played with the Scottish Universities Orchestra.

There are a lot of places in this music where the ‘melody’ is actually off the beat and I seem to remember that there were many who were unused to this – that makes it harder to stick to the tempo.

(for those in our band I always find we have exactly that problem when we play “Here I am to Worship” where the central part is similarly syncopated – conducting it is always a little bit of a struggle😁)
