It wouldn’t be Hogmanay without a bit of what we would have described as Teuchter music 😉. This video also gives you an opportunity to learn a Scottish dance – although given the covid-19 restrictions very few will have enough people for this one 😂
I learned this dance – and others – for my end of primary school celebratory dance – I guess we had a prom long before it became “a thing”. This was certainly one thing that I learned at primary school that came in useful.
The eightsone reel is probably too complicated for most of those who do not dance regularly – the Dashing White Sergeant probably is the most challenging one attempted – and that can go badly wrong 😂😂
