A March – Mountain Camp – for Sunday morning played by Glorianna.
I have to say that this is not the best recording – it was done on a cassette player at a live concert back in the days when there were no hi-tech mobile phones to get pretty good recordings. 😉
This march was a favourite of timbrel groups back in the day, which is probably why it ended up in our repertoire.
Might get your feet tapping 😃 I am sure that it will bring back memories for some of my friends on Facebook!!

This was a Triumph Series march. Came out mid 70’s. When I was George Passway’s assistant the Young Peoples Band played it. We had a couple good young cornet players, Martin Passway and Alastair Cameron so was very playable. Also Duncan Cameron playing euphonium and Kenny Broom on Baritone. Time has passed bye but not too quickly.

For those who don’t know (which is probably just about everyone😃) Glorianna was a brass ensemble comprising (mainly) members of Poole and Boscombe SA bands formed in 1979. The ‘usual’ lineup was a quintet but this was sometimes supplemented by others (as in this recording when there was some percussion).
