During the time that I lived in Wien I think that I attended musical events of various types much more frequently that at any other time in my life. The sheer number of options meant that whilst it was easy to find something that was filled with music that you already know and love it was also possible to try the unfamiliar – and I did so on quite a few occasions.
One of the most “exotic” was a concert by a traditional Chinese music group – not the one on this video – but the music was wonderful – and this is a good sample.
