A Worthy Mention

Staying with my time in the Wessex Youth Orchestra the contemplative music for this Friday is the slow movement of the Grieg Piano Concerto which they played at the gala concert in 1980.

I particularly remember this because it is the first and only time (to my knowledge) that my playing got a positive mention in a newspaper review! 😂 (I should add that I am also not aware of any negative reviews….)
