A visit to two areas of Germany – first of all Bayern – with its fairy tale castles and then the Schwarzwald.
Flowers and Insects at Hinton Ampner
Lots of flowery pictures – many adorned with insects.
Places of Worship
A visit to any destination often includes visiting the Churches, Cathedrals, Abbeys or other places of worship – often stunning examples of architecture. All of these photographs are from the interior of churches, etc..
This album will pop to the top of the list each time new images are added.
Stained Glass Windows
Stained glass windows are beautiful – but often difficult to photograph. Here are just some of my attempts.
This is another album that will pop to the top of the list each time new images are added.
Waterscapes
I love pictures of water – so I end up with a lot of them. I have tried to be a bit selective, but this album may get very big!!
Another album that will pop to the top of the list each time new images are added.
Where’s Wally
These pictures started by accident – but now I admit to sometimes doing it deliberately!! They each contain (at least) one person I know – but the subject of the picture is something else – the people are only there ‘by chance’.
This album will pop to the top of the list each time new images are added.
Bournemouth Air Show 2014
Although I was only able to get to the last hour or so of this year’s air show I did manage to get one or two good pictures. Not taken from the ‘ideal’ position – but some of the planes came close enough.
A Visit Home
After a four year gap we finally went back to Glasgow – this time doing the real ‘tourist’ bit within the City itself.
Photo Bombed By Birds
It seems that in so many photos I end up being ‘photo bombed’ by birds. Sometimes you might expect it, but often it is quite a surprise – certainly in this selection I rarely chose to include the birdie!!!
This album will pop to the top of the list each time new images are added.
A Visit to Mottisfont Abbey
We visited the Abbey on 8th August – I must admit that the pic of the horse is an interloper – that was actually taken the following day at Danebury Iron Age Hill Fort.
