Happy (belated) Birthday Barbra
Today's post is inspired by the fact that the singer, Barbra Streisand, had her 78th birthday yesterday - Happy Birthday!

I should stress that the link is not to "Somewhere over the Rainbow" but rather "Somewhere" from West Side Story. I had the pleasure of playing in the orchestra for a production of this back in my 'scottish' days. When this is used in the finale it is an incredibly emotional reprise of the song.
This arrangement and performance is one that I have loved for many years - hopefully some of you will also enjoy it.
