Just a few pictures after climbing a big hill!

We were a bit late for the azaleas - but still some good pics.

Just a couple of days here at the end of the trip before flying home. This was the third time I have visited the Twin Cities - not many photos taken this time.

An unusual opportunity to sit by the window meant that I got to take more than the usual number of pictures during our flights. I was particularly impressed with Greenland.

Whilst staying in Monterey we took a trip down Highway 1 to visit Big Sur.

The Aquarium in Monterey is a huge attraction at the end of Cannery Row.

Back here for the first time since 1994. For most of the albums of pics from the trip I have limited myself to no more than 50 images - failed to cut it down given that I had more than three times that many from the area. Was lucky enough to get up close to a family of deer and we spent one evening watching the sunset - stunning.

Mainly taken at the Elephant Seal Sanctuary near Hearst Castle - but also at Monterey, San Francisco and elsewhere. Noisy, smelly animals that often manage to produce cute pictures.

Just up the coast from Cambria, close to San Simeon, is Hearst Castle.. Unlike any other castle I have ever visited - more an Italianate village atop a hill than a fortified castle.

After leaving Las Vegas we headed west, stopping off at the Griffiths Observatory in Los Angeles before heading on to Cambria for a couple of nights.
