Easter Day
There is, perhaps, no music more associated with Easter than the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah. That said, it is not my choice for today. Instead I give you the finale of the oratorio - the chorus "Worthy is the Lamb" and the tremendous closing Amen.

I have had the privilege of performing Messiah a number of times. Some of my facebook friends from north of the border will remember that my dad, on a number of occasions, brought together massed songsters from the area together with guest soloists to bring this music to life.
If you are looking for blame - then the first of those was my debut as a tympanist 
(and look where that got me!)
