Change of pace - and a return to Rome. Just started this book - so far it is keeping me interested. No spoilers, but nothing much happens in this book - well, that's not strictly accurate, but for a 'thriller' it is for the most part devoid of action - perhaps best described as a "political intrigue". For me, the book also failed to deliver any real surprises - again, that is part of the "nothing happens" feeling - but it did keep me hooked to see how things ended. |

Continuing the Rebus story - decided to work through the remaining novels - see below |
The Discovery of Slowness

Something different and, like the previous book I read, a present from someone so not necessarily a book that I would have picked up myself. Just a couple of chapters in at the moment and it is very interesting - and very different. |

Typical Dan Brown page turner. Good to read, easy to read - not too taxing! |

The Long Cosmos

The next (and last) step (so to speak) in this rambling exploration of parallel worlds. Plenty of food for thought in the whole series - as long as you don't require 'answers'. Not that the reading date of this is approximate as I can't remember precisely when I read it. |

Change of pace - change of genre - my first dip into this one. |

Back to Rebus - the 16th novel - they never disappoint. |
