Although the programme was not entirely Christmas themed I did get to play and sing a lot of seasonal music.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The first &#8220;non-school&#8221; concert that I played in (50 years ago today \ud83d\ude31\ud83d\ude01) featured the Vaughan Williams&#8217; &#8220;Fantasia on Christmas Carols&#8221; and that is today&#8217;s share. It takes a while for the horn section to get involved &#8211; but it is worth it in the end!!
