{"id":1428,"date":"2020-09-22T16:21:56","date_gmt":"2020-09-22T16:21:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/systemsthink.co.uk\/wordpress\/?p=1428"},"modified":"2024-06-26T15:33:27","modified_gmt":"2024-06-26T15:33:27","slug":"chamber-music-fun","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/systemsthink.co.uk\/wordpress\/chamber-music-fun\/","title":{"rendered":"Chamber Music Fun"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is a piece of music that I played quite a lot &#8211; partly because it was always easier to find just two other players compared to any larger grouping\ud83d\ude03<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>It was written a few years before yesterday&#8217;s symphony, but is undeniably 20th century and there is no way you would mistake it for one of the Romantic compositions.<\/p>\n<p>I think this was probably my first encounter with the music of Poulenc &#8211; always a bit &#8220;playful&#8221; I guess I would describe it.
