{"id":1008,"date":"2020-06-20T21:16:53","date_gmt":"2020-06-20T21:16:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/systemsthink.co.uk\/wordpress\/?p=1008"},"modified":"2025-06-15T21:53:12","modified_gmt":"2025-06-15T21:53:12","slug":"denmark-sweden-and-norway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/systemsthink.co.uk\/wordpress\/denmark-sweden-and-norway\/","title":{"rendered":"Denmark, Sweden and Norway"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nine years ago Boscombe Band of the Salvation Army had just completed a tour of Scandinavia visiting Denmark, Sweden and Norway.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--> This was part of our 125th Anniversary celebrations and the music was recorded live on the occasion of our reunion weekend &#8211; apologies for any slight quality and balance problems with the sound \ud83d\ude03. &#8220;To The Chief Musician&#8221; was used as one of the opening pieces of music during the tour and at the commencement of the Sunday Evening of our reunion weekend which had the theme &#8220;A Hymn to Christ&#8221; and which concluded with Robert Redhead&#8217;s &#8220;Christ Hymn&#8221; which I posted on May 2nd.<\/p>\n<p>The pictures are just a small selection of the many that you can find <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boscombebandsa.org.uk\/campaigns\/tour2011.shtml\">on our website<\/a> from the tour &#8211; I&#8217;ve tried to include all the places we visited, but, of course, that does mean that it is a bit of a whistle stop tour.
